Denpasar - The Bali Common Government (Pemprov) has affirmed that it will not reexamine Territorial Direction (Perda) Number 6 of 2023 concerning Demands for Remote Visitors for the Security of Balinese Culture and Natural Environment. Usually, since the control has not indeed been executed for a year.
"It is incomprehensible for a control to be assessed sometime recently it is actualized. Let it run, to begin with," said Bali Territorial Secretary (Sekda) Dewa Made Indra when met at the Nari Graha building, Renon, Denpasar, Wednesday (31 /7/2024).
The talk on reexamining Territorial Control Number 6/2023 was proposed by the Bali DPRD. In reality, the Chairman of Commission II of the Bali DPRD, Ida Gede Komang Kresna Budi, proposed that the outside traveler requirement be expanded from US$ 10 to US$ 50. He contended that the outside visitor requirement of US$ or around Rp. 150 thousand was as well cheap.
Indra evaluated that the rushed changes would backfire on Bali tourism. Agree with him, the increase within the required rates seems to make visitors hesitant to get away on the Island of the Divine Beings.
