Being the first and only one in the world, the Coach restaurant in Jakarta is made with a New York-style touch.
To present a unique New York touch, this restaurant was designed by Coach's creative director, Stuart Vevers, who collaborated with William Sofield, a famous designer and also president of Studio Sofield.
This New Yorker touch is presented through various ornaments, including a wall of silver balls, to the iconic big yellow taxi. This taxi is displayed on the ceiling in an upside-down position.
New York-style culinary
With New York DNA, the dishes at this restaurant also present a variety of distinctive flavors. Moreover, the most typical one is not the New York Strip steak.
It cannot be denied that this dish is one of his signature dishes. With top short loin meat, this meat is cooked to medium rare. The meat inside is soft and the outside is cooked well to provide a crunchy crust. This steak is served with three types of sauce, namely truffle, butter, and barbecue.
As a side dish, fried potatoes with creamy spinach and asparagus. As a personal experience, in this dish, most of it is served with the addition of cheese, even if it is removed it will not reduce the delicious taste. The combination of too much cheese will make the taste of the food covered by the strong taste of cheese.
Coach Restaurant also offers a seafood menu. Executive Chef Gabriel Jamias presents a signature menu of juicy Rockefeller oysters with melted cheese on top.
